Sany SY50U is here!

After much research decided to pull the trigger on a Sany SY50U. I don't do any heavy commercial work. This will be use primary for residential. Bought it sight unseen from Central Atlanta Tractor. Just got the excavator in late last night, so I haven't really got a chance to go over it. But wanted to share with the forum some pics. I have a 30x40 building with a 10ft garage door. It barely fit. Thank god!

I have a dealer closer but chose the dealer further away in Atlanta because it was $4500 cheaper.

Any seat time in the new Sany? What will be it’s tasks around the residence? Like to hear you’re opinions of it, pretty sure we don’t have a dealer for Sany in Michigan. Congrats , I’m sure you’ll have fun!

Just put 4 hours on the machine. Pulled out a decent size stump. I'll get a picture of that later. Moving some dirt for a house foundation. Wish the breakout force was a little stronger compared to other excavators in its category. I have rented a Takeuchi 260 and 250 for comparison. The Takeuchi 260 was a very strong excavator. The Takeuchi 250 is very comparable to the Sany SY50u.Overall a good machine for the price. AC works great. Nice to have a radio. Wish it had float function on the blade. And no cup holders.

I have ran a Takeuchi 260 and 250. The power is so strong on Takeuchi 260. Digging up stumps was a breeze. The Takeuchi 250 is very comparable to the Sany SY50u Look at the size of the stumps I dug up with the Takeuchi 260.

I'm going down the rabbit hole of buying the same machine 2020 version. How has the SY50U for you???
