Kubota B7610
I was at the dealer in my area today as I am going to trade my B7610 in for a B7800. The dealer told me that the 3030 is the same physical size; however, when looking at the tractors the 3030 appears larger. Now they were not sitting next to each other so a dirrect comparison was not possible.

I have actually only had the 7610 one month (15 hr) and was just going to re-finance to 0% when I asked the dealer if he would take the 7610 back so I could by the 7800 and to my suprise he said yes.

That got me looking at the 3030 and it sure looks bigger! So do you think it is actually a tad larger?

I have been lurking for a while now and I wanted to wait until I bought a tractor to jump in.

The B7800 and B3030 are the same size tractors. There is more sheet metal on the B3030 that makes it look larger.

Thanks for the reply! I would like to get them next to each other as I have not completed the paper work on the 7800 yet and don't want to do this again in the near future. I have time as they cant find a 60"MMM for the 7800 and will most likely have to order from Kubota which will take a while I'm sure.

I went through the same thing a few months back. The 7800 won out with me over the 3030. Very few additional buttons and a tilt wheel didn't do it for me. Either way you'll get a good machine. I don't look back on the 3030.

I brought home the 7800 with R4 tires and right off knew I didn't care for those (for my use) so I traded for turfs. I'm much more pleased with the turfs.

I love the B7800 and I too will never look back, I am shallow though and I'm a sucker for a pretty face. How ever I wish I had that position control feature. Mind you I am fine without it and would not go to the 3030 for that reason alone but if your doing a lot of AG work with the 3 point it has merit. The R4s depend on how you use it. For loader work, ground engagement. working in the woods. Well then there your boys. There pretty indestructible, they hold up to Broken glass and the wt of a full loader with little distortion. I personally love them but your job description for your tractor might be different than mine. For the most part the 3030 & 7800 are the same tractor. I would take the extra 1500 and add rear remotes or a grapple and tooth bar or maybe another implement.

For some reason, if I see 2 identical tractors and one has R4's and the other one has turfs the one with the R4's always looks bigger to me. I think Ags make it look even bigger:confused:

Ok, now they have really got me going as the dealer said that the only difference between 7800 and the 2630 is $800. He has FEL and MMM in stock; however, he has to order MMM for 7800 and will be two weeks.

Question now is do I wait or take 2630, I only use PTO for mower so PTO hp is a none issue. I do like to push trees over sometimes:D though.

The B2630 is that same tractor as the B3030. Except for one less cylinder and 4 HP. With one less cylinder tractor has a shorter wheel base. There have been good reports on this model tractor.

I think both the B2630, and B3030 are built on frames, and have the same wheelbase. The B2630 has less horsepower, but it has less vibration with the three cylinder engine too. At least I found them to be a bit smoother.... your mileage may vary.....

Oops, Wheel base does not change. Overall length is 4" shorter on the 2630.
