Same Frame Size?

I recently learned of a used LS J2020h tractor for sale from my out of state cousin.

I'm considering buying it.

Recently I looked at an LS J2023h (new at a local dealer).

Are these two tractors the same physical size? I'm very tall and I felt the J2023h could work but I wouldn't want anything smaller. Given that I may make a long distance, sight unseen, commitment to buy the J2020H, I want to get some sense of the ergonomics.

Any other size, power, loader differences between the two worth noting?

We plan to use this as a second tractor for 5 acre 3 point finish mowing only. (Can a J2020h power a 5' finish mower?) The loader would be dismounted and stored in our barn.

There appears to be a slight difference in overall weight of about 20 pounds and a different engine in the 2030 but otherwise same frame, tires etc. The 2023 also has a different loader (per website from the 2020 / 2030 which is a bit strange although it is perhaps a typo and meant to be a different loader on the 2030 rather than the 2023/2020.

I would say that if you fit on a 2020 you will fit on any of the other two.

I didn't buy the J2020H as I determined, (based upon my close inspection of the similar J2023H), it was too narrow for our needs.

I was worried that such a narrow model would be tippy. Even though our land is largely flat, I didn't want to risk it. (I will say that the J2023H does represent a solid value for folks not concerned with narrowness).

Fortunately, there are other wider small tractors in the marketplace.

The 2023 has a higher loader capacity, larger hydro pumps, and a few more HP than the 2020.

I bought a 2023 brands new and I've been very happy with it. I use it on 6 acres. It will easily run a 5ft finish mower.

My 6 acres is very hilly and there has never been a time i was worried about tipping. Seems like a trivial issue to sway your decision if your property is mostly flat.

Physical size of just the tractors are the same. The loader on the 2023 is a good bit heavier (300lbs) The 2023 also has a larger hydro pump which gives it a little more lifting capabilites. The 2020 shouldn't have a problem handling a 5ft. finish mower.
