Can anyone tell me about a SAME tractor 4 wd I think its the explorer from 83.
it has no brakes. cost? is they hard to replace? i need it to pull out logs i think its about 50hp

That would be about 80 horsepower. They are a good tractor but did have some pricing issues on parts that wasn't good for owners trying to fix them.

art, he's saying FROM 83, as in 1983

They never built an 83 model, closest type designation is an explorer 80
Having 50 hp (PTO ??) i expect it to be an explorer 65, which was AFAIK the smallest of the explorer range.

You should be able to find parts through a good Agco dealer, as Agco sold these models for a while as Agco Allis and White.

I am sorry guys wrong model entirely. It is a SAME, Falcon.
The number on the tag says FA T *11704*
At present I have a Allis Chalmers D14 and sold my WD45 in the spring just for info.

I guess I was trying to read between the lines to much. I was thinking he had the 85 as a misprint, oh, well!

I appreciate your efforts ART, I don't have experience with these new fangled tractors. lol
this all I have been able to find. Any help on the brakes and or parts diagrams would be real helpful.
