DEWFPO,

I had to run out to the shop for something else so wrote down the motor number just in case.

Char-Lynn #105-1463-006

As I mentioned, if your flow and pressure are different this motor may not work for you. I spent lots of "phone time" with Char-lynn as well as Erskine before the switch.

I checked the fan motor and it is indeed a Char-Lynn #105-1464-006.

I couldn't get to the auger motor without removing the shield. It was +1F and needed to blow snow so I didn't take the time.

Looks like I'll have the tech check the system pressures.

Thanks, DEWFPO

DEWFPO,

I have torn my files apart looking for the motor number that was origionally on my Blowers but I can't find it. It appears that the motor number you have is one digit different than mine. You might ask the tech what the difference is. If memory serves me, I actually ended up calling Eaton's (who owns Char-Lynn) Engineering Department and collected all the specs before the western US Rep. for Bobcat came to visit. I also spoke extensively with Erskine's tech folks and even thought I was not able to purchase from them (at the time there was no adapter for the 7 to 14 pin electrical) they were extremely helpful and in their opinion the only possible issue was fan speed. They did a flow test and at the time (before the drive motor issue surfaced) the flow test was up to specs.

In additional to the flow test they also tested the RPM's on the fan with a scope to see if the RPM's were correct. After the "tests" they changed out the motors. Good luck and let me know what the outcome is.

The TC mechanic came out today and reprogrammed the CPU. After which he had to recalibrate the brake and movement pedals. Takes longer to gain access and hook everything up than it does to upgrade the software.

He showed me the software they have on the laptop they use and it has about 8 or so gauges that it shows on the screen plus a variety of sensors and their readout. I wish the dash had a screen that you can toggle thru the different readouts. One of the gauges read the hydro fluid temp.
