I assume we are talking about the cool looking young man operating the grader with the ROPS folded down.
Makes you wonder at their attention to detail if this gaffe goes unnoticed.

I don't know anything about laser control systems. But does anyone know if the ROPS would interfere with the system? If it does, that could be the reason that the ROPS is down. I see that most of the tractors in the add has the ROPS up and or a cab. So surely that isn't a problem. Does anyone know?

The LASER system is not looking skyward. ROPS and cabs are not in the way of the LASER.
It is just an indication of general lack of interest in safety.
