I was looking at the Fender website and there was a thing entitled a tribute to John Entwistle for those of you who don't know he was the Bass player from The Who. He was one of my heros as well as a hero to many other aspiring bass players, I was hoping to try my hardest to get to meet him when they came down to Florida on tour but I and countless other people will never get to meet him, but at least he will forever be remedered in the hearts of is family, friends, and fans, which I fell lucky to count myself as one. This makes me even more proud of my signiture. He will be added to the countless list of people that died to young; including such names as Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Jaco Pastorius(another hero of mine), Randy Rhodes, Keith Moon, and countless others. Well I thought I would share that with everyone.

NathanielJeep1,

I thought of you this morning on the way to work when I
heard that Entwistle had died. Very sad.

I actually saw the Who back in 81/82 during their last last
tour. It was an awesome concert. 64,000 people in the
stadium. I heard the tickets now cost hundreds of dollars
for the latest tour. I paid $20 back in the 80s. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I think the Who was kicking off a new tour tonight in Las
Vegas....
