Sad Day

Folks, today is a sad day indeed. I had to part with my trusty old B7800 that I purchased new back in 2004. I delivered her to her new owner on a 27 Acre farm. He got a great tractor. Only 318hrs and a Kubota LA402 FEL that was a little over a year old! A lot of great memories with that beast. Thanks to all you folks and this site for all your great knowledge.

My condolences. I am quickly becoming attached to my BX. I can't imagine the feelings I will have after 10years! What's next, USMC? Your'e gonna need something to play with.

Thanks dragoneggs. Yeah I know that is the problem ;-) Ohh man, it was terrible. I felt like I was giving away one of my kids or something..Gee wizz
Right now we have a small Toro/Wheelhorse 520Xi with a front blade. But my kids "grew up" on the Kubota. They would "help" me around the farm..Sad. Out of financial necessity right now so hopefully when things get better I will be able to get another something....

Did you purchase a new tractor or just don't have a need for one anymore? 318 hours is pretty low for a tractor. My tractor is also a 2004 and I don't have much more than that on mine either (about 50 hours a year on mine). Mainly used mine for snow removal and occasional summer use.

I still feel sad about trading my B2920 for an L3200 even though the L is a much better choice for my needs now. It's just that the B served me well, and was a key part of building our new home. It was my best friend for many months out at our new property while we were building.
