On my sa424 I get a rythmic clicking/pumping noise when I turn the ignition on or turn it to the heat coils position (before starting the engine). The noise continues until the ignition is turned off or the engine is started.
Difficult to describe the noise and it doesn’t seem to affect anything, but I just wondered whether this is normal ?
To me it seems weird that both “on” and “heat coils” positions act the same with this noise and I don’t feel comfortable leaving the ignition on for longer than a few seconds (e.g for lights without engine running) in case this noise is an indication that something is not right.
it’s always been like that from new, and I’ e got about 80 hours on it without any apparent issues.
Any feedback/experience from other sa owners would be appreciated !
