S300 Bushog/mulcher

Hey everyone
How well will a 2 speed ,high flow s300 run a 72" brush cutter or possible mulcher head???

Well 2 speed has nothing to do with it. That's for travel.

Is it a G or K series? G series, not very well for a mulcher but will run a bushhog just fine on low flow. Depending on the mower, you might be able to run a high flow on a G series or K series if the mower has a case drain or you run a Davco style mower.

A K series s300 has the hydraulic flow to run a mulcher but the engine is a little weak to keep the pump up so it will take some finesse. I mulched for about 4 years with two K series S300's using a tushhogg and an FAE mulcher.

Make sure you have a lexan door..
