S250 sitting??

Hey all, I am going to take a look at a S250 (guessing a 2010) but it has been sitting for a long time. I know the battery is dead so i am wondering a few things....can i jump the battery possibly to check the machine? also i am wondering what everyone things i can look for, as problems in a machine that sits or in general with the S250? I know the unit has a cab and Heat and around 2000 hours. What does everyone think

Kinda depends on the price.. Machinery trader has 1 w/3k hours for 27 grand.
If its sat for long the fuel might have gone bad & gelled.. that usually means the fuel system has to be cleaned.. not a big job BUT it will keep it from starting.
Yes, you can jump it off.. you'll probably have to bleed the fuel system of air tho..
IF your serious about seeing if it runs, take some wrenches w/ you.. if you want me to walk you thru a very quick bleed process, email me at, a o l . com

On an S250 Anyone have an Idea of the cost to replace a hydraulic pump or drive motor? I m just looking for worst case senario?
