Rake ??'s about 3' York Rake for Riding Lawnmower

Guys,

I still have my buddies Craftsman 18 HP Lawn Tractor thing in my shed (he has not come to get it yet) O am wondering if I should make an offer to buy the 3' York Rake. It has the gauge wheels, and it has the drop down blade (not sure what it is called).

Heck it still has original yellow/orangeish paint (it is in pretty good shape)

I am thinking my JD LX266 16HP Mower MIGHT be able to pull it and I could use it for small repairs to my gravel drive, and for raking leaves, horse poo, etc.

I'm concerned the flimsy sheet metal hole for a trailer is not strong enough though...

So what do I offer him? $50? $100?

Just curious what you guys think. I'm open to all advice! :thumbsup:

A small tractor and rake like that is real handy for getting in and raking out horse paddocks where you can't fit the big tractor. I think your price range is probably about right.
