RZT 50 left hydro not responding well.

It looks to me if you have EZT hydros, there is no filter. I would still recommend a drain and refill. My RZT has a reservoir under the seat and each hydro had a fill plug on top. If you have an EZT, I am not sure if there is a drain plug. If not, you will have to remove the hydros and turn upside down to drain the oil. I used Castrol 20w50 in my hydros.

Old thread I know...I recently did some work on my RZT54 mower deck (baffle came loose and made contact with a blade, so I installed a new baffle, new blades, new deck belt)

Anyways, I decided I would replace the drive belt while the deck was off and noticed that all of the hydro fan blades were missing on my left ZT-2800 hydro.

I ordered a new fan (that was a pain since the ZT-2800 have multiple fan types/configurations) and plan to replace soon. Has anyone here replaced the fan on a ZT-2800 without removing the hydro?

I drilled a hole in the frame from above and there appears to be sufficient room to remove the pulley and blade without removing the hydro.
