RX75 wont mow

So I just picked up an RX75 with a bagger for basically nothing. I was told the problem with it is that it runs fine but as soon as you engage the mower it will not move anymore. Has anyone heard of something like this before? I'm wondering if it's as simple as bad bearings in the mower deck creating too much drag. It was dark when I got it and haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

I would think we would all be guessing at this point, heck we haven't even seen it yet so it didn't happen.
