Comparison RX, NX, or Ck??

Ken you know you need that extra 20 horsepower. I think of the size of the mower you could use on that 3 acres..

Ya, the 20 extra hp would be nice too, I was doing it for the new wiper position.

Is there any possible chance you have any more information on this? :D

Also, what are the NX model designation? Is that just the Tier 4 stuff? (or do I dare mention those evil EPA designations:laughing:)

Sorry, just had a casual chat about his trip to NC and some of the stuff they saw and talked about. Dont remember model names just that the new tier 4 machines were going to be more expensive by about 10%.

This will be the death of the DK series so, Ken, you better get that "old hog" traded before parts are too scarce to keep it on the road.

The good thing about all this Tier 4 stuff being integrated and mandated, is now the manufacturers can start spending more time improving other parts of the tractor, for instance, maybe now it won't be too many more years before we're seeing larger utility sized tractors with either HST or CVT transmissions.
What I would prefer even more, is a true powershift transmission on the larger utility sizes. Where you can shift both ranges and speeds on the fly. I think Kubota's GST is similar to this, as are Deere's 6R series powershift. I'd love to see a larger Kioti with this.

The new wiper position aside, this type of transmission would be enough for me to make one final upgrade.

All those shiny new tractors gives me the itch.

The new NX series will start at 45HP and have a 50,55 and 60 all gear or HST. These will replace the current DK series. The roll out will start later this fall w/ mostly cab models being initially available. They have to run through the remaining inventory of DK's first. All will offer Tier 4, 3 cyl engines. The RX series will consist of a 66 and 73 HP, available either w/ cab or open station. The open station RX7310 looks really cool. Those two models will be 4 cyl. tier 4.

Also, introduced was the replacement for the CK20, the CK2510. Newer styling, a tad longer and 25 HP tier 4 engine. The remainder of the CK's will change fro 2015.

The spec sheet on the NX 50 released down here last month states that it has a 4 cylinder engine . Engine type 4B243LWHR Displacement 2,435 cc .Says nothing about tier 4 (USA standard) or common rail.

I talked with a kioti rep. And he said the new HST tranny on the new NX series has what he called a progressive setting that allows the engine RPM's to rise as you push on the forward or reverse pedal. You can also set the sensitivity on the HST to allow it to come to a stop fast or slow. The NX series also has anti stall. Sounds like some great features to me.

Just looked at the updates on the Kioti website.

The new CK2510, boosting this fine tractor to 25hp makes this unit even better.

The NX CUTs look interesting, but some things don't make sense on the specs page. For
example, the NX6010HST is listed as a 60 hp, 3-cylinder NA engine of only 1.8 liters. No
way. Even with a turbo, you would struggle to get 60hp out of 2.2+ liters.

And, losing 17hp at the PTO? A 10hp loss is high in the industry.

As usual, Kioti refuses to give complete specs on the hydraulics, like pressure and
implement pump volume.

I look forward to seeing these machines in FEB at the World AG Expo.
