I followed a thread on another board recently where the owner was concerned about rust, especially on welds. He also had paint that was peeling off in several places. It's hard to tell how bad it really was, but it made me want to go look at mine again. Right now my tractor is outside 24/7, so it should be a good test - there was a little on nicks and scratches on the 3ph arms, and a couple of places on castings that looked like they got hit when the subframe mounts were put on, but mostly it looks really good. All the sheet metal welds that I looked at showed no trace of rust. The paint is really on there too, it was a pain on some of the 3ph parts at first, like the swivel balls on the ends of the arms. Actually, the paint on the tractor looks noticably better than the paint on the Rhino FEL and BH, although that is not too bad either.
Have any other Kioti owners looked at the paint closely?
