I sure hope the excavator operator is counting noses real carefully after each pass. I think it would really hurt to be lying in the water and get conked by a trenching bucket.

To them I'm sure the risks seemed justified by the fun. I'm sure the grainy bouncy video adds to the intensity of it all also. Would I advise doing it? no. Would I allow someone to do that with my equipment or on my land or with people I know and care about being involved? no. Would I do it myself? Probably in my younger days, but as previously stated by someone else some of the things I did in my younger years makes that look not nearly so bad. The more experience we have, the better we are at identifying the dangers around us and the less likely we are to do things like this. Youth is a wonderful thing, too bad it's wasted on the young...

Perhaps the KGB, under Putin's auspices, is attempting to improve their torture techniques?
