Rumor ?

Don't want to perpetuate a rumor but, I just read (another forum)that someone was saying that he heard that Kioti was pulling out of the US.He also said that he did not know where he heard it ??
If anyone has heard this let us know but,it sounds like the big boys might be taking "pot-shots"again.........Mike

But I find it hard to believe since Kioti just getting to the point where they are seeing a large sales growth.

Why would they pull out of the USA. Here in Australia they are going great guns and we have a population of only 20 million, i am sure with your population they would only need such a small pecentage of the market to stay viable.

KIOTI has battled this kind of stuff from day one. From the you can't get parts, to the it's a Korean Kubota, to HA HA they're going out of business. This is in NO WAY shape or form true. Let's just think about it....KIOTI has grown tremendously ever since they went dealer direct, sales are up large amounts, reputable dealers are being added all the time, etc, etc. KIOTI ain't goin no-where but UP. New models will be out late fall-early spring. More OEM's are realizing that the KIOTI engine is a darn good powerplant and are picking it up for use in there own machines.
Alot of these rumors get started by "other brand" dealers or just KIOTI haters. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif It is a little bit funny though!! Be watching for the new CK series they are gonna be AWESOME.

A Kubota joke. The truth is I talked to their USA president last week at the Sunbelt show and they are expanding their product lines.

I was just talking to my dealer, by the way a Top bloke. He has just got back from a visit to the Daedong factory in Korea, he was very impressed.
He told me that in the 18mths daedong has been importing to Australia they have sold about 350 tractors not a bad effort for a small country.

We are a dealer down here in Texas and I do not understand why they would be pulling out after moveing the distributors warehouse to a LARGER facility in Mexia, Texas this past year.
Does not make any since to me.
Just some more garbage from the other camp I figure.

Is that for real?or are you pulling my leg?

If true it shouldn't be a suprise,Kioti is probably the only one who hasn't made tractors for Cub Cadaver.

Yes, Kioti has an OEM agreement to supply tractors to Cub Cadet.

mike: don't beleive kioti is going anywhere but up. they seem to be a decent tractor, but i have no actual experience with one. don't know how these rumors get started, why just a short time ago , kubota was going broke.

What's a rumor? A place for supporters of the rumoree to stand up and defend. Do I think Kioti will fail? No! But what do I know? Chances are they will not. A safe bet? Depends on the odds. There are some mighty big companies whose stock holders bet a lot on the strength of the company and were shocked. Some notables have been in Korea.

But I don't think Kioti will. Supporters should defend. The odds are on their side. But who knows about rumors. That's their nasty little power! If they persist, maybe a dealer should advise Kioti and let them take care of it.

The latest of this type has been against Directv by competing sellers and Directv is aggressively refuting.
