The irony is, didn't have time to stop last November, but did this time on the way back home, and it's off some dirt road you'd never think about taking unless if it weren't for the small sign on the road not too far away from this place... https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums...-revolutionary-patriot-i.html?highlight=Isaac

Also found out that two 14 year old boys, given a full perfect weather day in Savannah, would rather spend a day at the gift shops off River street than actually walk around and look at the cities history.

When you make a comment like that, you darn well better include pics;)

I would,..... but have never quite figured out the picture posting thing.
Too much trouble/difficult for an old guy.

If your house was buil in 1730, I'm sending you a Private Emial via this forum. E-mail me the picture of your house and I'll post it here.

I'll make it simple if you can't check PM's on this website... email address is ilovewv@yahoo.com

ANY house that was built in 1730 that is still standing is worth posting a pic IMO.

Me three!
All old structures like that should be preserved, never fall to ruin. Just yesterday we're coming back from a little vacation and saw this building in Itmann, WV. What a shame, I walked around and then through it from open basement.
You see it was beautifully well built, like that pretty church, so much history. Imagine how many weddings took place there!20190629_153247.jpg20190629_153504.jpg

Don't even get me going on West Virginia and coal. West Virginia coal wars - Wikipedia

Read up on it, you might be surprised what you find in our own history.

At this point, all my readings are going "south", generally before 1850:D

The TBN link does not work for me. Is this church considered to be Methodist?
