RTV900 will not move at first

I have an RTV900 that will not move in H or M when you first give it throttle. Then it will take off all of a sudden and run well in all gears.
It will always take off in L or R just fine. I got this one used and it had some pretty rough treatment judging from the oil I took out of the trans.

Everything has been changed.

I also have one I got new in 07 and have never had any problems with. This kinda has me stumped. I wanted this in the ATV/UTV section but didn't know how to do it. Hope I am not stepping on anyones toes.

Do these have a centrifugal clutch like we had on snowmobiles when I was a kid? If so, sounds like the wedges need some lube.

Make sure the HST charge pump filter is the correct one and the VHT fluid is Super UDT.

yes super UDT2 ONLY. Regular UDT and cheap hydraulic oil does not play well with HST's and definitely not the RTV HST's. Beyond that, make sure the filters are fresh and correct. Then last step is to check the HST charge pressure.

The older 900's were a little slow to react to throttle input. Just the way that they came from the factory.
