Spent some time getting my RTV900 (AKA: Murphy) ready for wood cutting.
Front rack for saw and supplies was the best investment I could have made. I'm using it a lot now, and it's great to have the bed and front seat empty for their intended purposes.
Oil pan heater installed. I put a thread up on this earlier. I have a block heater, but it only heats the heads and not the entire water jacket. I put the oil pan heater on to help get the lube moving faster with cold starts.
Sealed the window gaps with insulation. I used split-foam pipe insulation and those foam boffer sticks for playing in the pool to seal up the gaps around the window and the roof. MAJOR IMPROVEMENT to cut the breeze in the cab when the soft-side doors are zipped shut.
Trailer light adapter installed. I installed an independently fused trailer light adapter so that I have lights on my trailer when I tow a load of wood home at night. The tail lights and SMV on Murphy are blocked by the trailer, so this put a lot of light behind me on pitch-black country roads.
Fluids all changed, so all that's left to do is to put on the chains when the snow starts to fly!
