RTV900 Power Steering Fluid Change?

Is it really necessary to change the Power steering fluid separately from the transmission fluid change. Read the manual several times and still don't understand. Thought it all flowed thru same system and filters

Separate reservoirs, I really don't see a need to change unless there is contamination or the unit isn't used in water. We have machines sold when they first come out,.. some over 1000hrs,.. and we have yet to change out the PS oil.

FYI,.. the PS pump is on the right hand side behind and below the injection pump.
