My new rtv500 has 16 hours on it and has NOT been abused nor overloaded. The machine sags about 1" down on the drivers side with no load and drops more when I get on. My impression is the springs appear weak. my dealer has no explanation as yet and is looking into the problem. I am very impressed with all other aspects of my RTV 500 ,but the old saying NO LEGS NO HORSE applies. Does anyone else have similar problems? Also any comments on your experience with this machine are appreciated.

Welcome to TBN....As far as the leaning: the only thing that comes to mind right away is check the adjustment on the rear struts and make sure that they are the same..They are adjustable for load/ride quality.

Obvious, but tire pressure too.

Good machine, but many of us wish it had more power, and the HST pedal downshift thing is pretty annoying. Other than that I'm mostly happy.

DRUSSELL,

I noticed this on mine as well, but I think it was lower on the passenger side and a little higher on the driver side on my unit. I just chalked it up as a planned flaw to account for the normal use of one person. I will check when I return from my work trip to see how it is now that I have had it for a few months.

I have enjoyed my 500 to the fullest so far. I have made some additions to it and have put it through some off road tests that would make the board proud. I'm waiting on the servo adjustment to get some more rpms out of it per Matt's help. Welcome to the Orange Crew!

Hey, check your tires. The RTV 500 uses 24x11.00-12 in the rear and 24x9.00-12 in the front. You may have the 11's on the right side. If not I think a shock adjustment may fix your problem.
