Hi,seat belt is secure. Works well in low and reverse. Only high gear will it miss and stall out. Gas and plugs are good

I bought my first side by side last year. I didn't test drive a Kubota because they seemed to be priced a bit more than the Honda and Kawasaki's for the same features.

I ended up with a Honda 700-4 after test driving the Honda and Kawasaki. Seats 5 and gets up to 43 mph although most of the time its puttering around my property at 10 mph.

In 2wd, it spins the tires on take off, no issue. We take it uptown all the time. here in Michigan, with DOT approved tires, turn signals, mirrors and ORV sticker (and SMV triangle) they are considered legal for use on secondary roads.

We used to haul our dirt bikes 4 hours up to Baldwin, MI to run the fire trails. No lights or plates but the police never bothered you between the trails and town. They did have rough paths along the main hi way to ride on. I was impressed with their attitude up there. That was in the mid seventies, though.

Has anyone with the rtv 850 had a problem in high gear, dealer is working on this problem .we will put stock tires back on and go from there. Any issues with aftermarket tires and rims?

Did you buy new or used? Did you put different wheels/tires on? Were the non stock wheels/tires bigger? If so, how much? Did it run Ok with stock wheels/tires?

FWIW-
I was a sales rep for a big pressure washer company for a few years.
The subaru/robin engines were by far the most trouble free of the brands when offered.
