RTV "smothers out" when i push the go pedal

my RTV has about 60 hours on it: and just started doing this: when i push the accel pedal, it sorta smothers out or stalls really bad; i take it out of gear and the motor won't respond like it should: its to dang cold outside to do much checkin right now, but i am "assuming" its either the air cleaner or the fuel filter?? probably the fuel filter: its a little past time to change it anyway, i have changed oil etc, but didn't change the fuel filter, yet.

Could be your diesel fuel is gelling, try some fuel conditioner and see if that helps. You will have to warm it up to get the conditioner through the lines.

Check the fuel filter. Probably needs to be changed.

that was probably it: i haven't driven it yet, but i pulled the old filter out and fuel wouldn't run thru it, so i put a new one in: i'll try it later, but i'm bettin that was the problem: i switched to biodiesel a while back: and they said then, i might have to change my fuel filter a couple times.
