RTV-900 dump bed not going down

The last two days, the dump bed on our RTV-900 has been going down very, very slowly, apparently not by hydraulic pressure but by gravity.

It raises fine, just doesn't go back down without either waiting or pulling it down manually.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

Try unplugging the QD's, then reconnecting them-My .02$ bets on is not seated all the way.

When you push the dump lever all the way forward it is in the coast position, and there is no hydraulic pressure used to retract the cylinder. Are you pushing to far? Not much can go wrong on it....

No. It actually goes down a bit faster in the "float" position than it does in the "power down" position.

I guess I need to take it to the dealer.

I solved it! One of the hydraulic quick connects had come loose in back! All on it's own, after a year of use!

I had called the dealer's service department yesterday and asked it they had any ideas of what could cause it. No suggestions. Today I told the service manager today what I found and he said "Oh yeah, I remember that happening to someone else too now that you mention it"

I was just about to haul the RTV in to the dealer and decided to look over the lines carefully for kinks or anything.
