RTV 900 CRACKED PLASTIC

Greetings. I have just purchased an RTV and after only 2 hours of very light riding on a grass lawn and level dirt road, I have pieces of plastic cracking and breaking off around the bolt holes on the orange plastic front and black plastic dash area. It appears that the bolts might have been tightened too tight and a little vibration took it from there. I have contacted the dealer and they have never heard of it before. Has anyone here???? Thanks!

I have over 50 hours on my RTV without any cracks. You are probably correct regarding the fastner tightening. Your profile does not list your location -- very cold weather area by chance?

im at 60 hours and nothing is cracked on mine either.. Lots of hard running too..

Over "torqued" bonnet bolts could cause this situation…you dealer should cover that under warranty.

Welcome to TBN and congrats on your new RTV!!

In the orange plastic, are you referring to the bolts under the headlights (from inside the wheel wells)? If so, mine are broke there as well but I can't confirm how/when it happened.

Where on the dash?

Nope - warm weather!

They are on the "dash" - I'm going to try and get a local dealer to look at it - hopefully, they'll help me out even though I did'nt buy it from them.
