I'm probably a little late on this one, I don't know how I missed it before.:ashamed:
I installed the American Eagle 60" plow system this year. Cost was about $600 for the state plow design like I purchased, a straight plow was approx. $100 cheaper at the time. It istalls using the 4 holes in front where the 2" receiver hitch is and you drill 4- 3/8" holes up from underneath to bolt through as well. It appears to be a well built unit and the lift height is very high. To use this plow you need a winch or you have to purchase a hydraulic lift set up. Since I already had a winch this was much cheaper than the factory plow option. I've heard very good things about American Eagle products, from all the reports I read if you have a problem they are very good about taking care of it.
I didn't install the heavy duty struts, I can't see a need. The plow squats the front a little but it doesn't really make much difference from what I can tell.
