RTV 500 Pricing

Has anyone priced a RTV500 recently? The dealers are all quoting the MSRP (9,200) and say they can get into the high 8's, however, I found some listed on Tractor house for $8,400.

Just looking for the base orange model.

The difference between MSRP and cost is lower on the RTV series than the rest of hte tractors, so expect a smaller spread.

I bought the Camo model in SEPT 09.I paid 7900 plus tax here in Mississippi.95 hours on it and love that thing.I don't know how we got along without it.

I was just quoted $9,200 with hard top, bed liner, and grill guard out he door. Sounds like you all are getting better deals. My dealer did tell me though that the RTV 500 as we now know it will be redesigned- belt driven and single cylinder. Seems as though Kubota wants to make it more "affordable". I guess the price point of the 500 is too close to the 900.

With the 0% financing, the 900 is only like $50 more a month, so for that difference, would you opt for the 900 over the 500?

Just depends on the use...If you can use a diesel and are running in fairly open spaces a 900 is a good call. I'm very happy with my 1100, although the 500 was great for running in the woods.

My guess is if they do go CVT on the 500, it's probably to try to increase the sport aspect that the 500 doesn't have under the current configuration. Most comparible UTV's will do much better than 25MPH. The 500 is probably a better worker with the steel bed and the tank-like build...Just have to wait and see where that's going.

all the prices ive seen on the RTVs have been anywhere from $9000 to $15,000.i was considering the RTV before i bought the tractor.after pricing some RTVs i decided id get more use out of the tractor.

Sounds in the ball park. I'm starting to lean towards the 900 now as the payment is less than a "tank of gas" difference!
