John Deere 3032E
It is actually my friends tractor but people need to know. The bolt for the rt lift arm apparently came loose and once it backed out enough snapped off. We got the bolt out using a left hand drill bit and a rt angle drill. Once the bit caught hold it unscrewed the remainder of the bolt, about 1/4". Our local AgPro suggested abuse but I can tell you this this is treated better than many children.

When you put it back together - use Blue LokTite on all the nuts/bolts.

A bolt holds the lift arm or a bolt that holds a pin holding the lift arm? Pictures?

The third pic shows the left arm with the washer and bolt holding the arm onto the spline shaft. The first two show that the bushings are missing and the bolt is sheared. Of course the remaining piece is removed using left handed drill bit. The remaining piece screwed right out.

Already have that lined up, thanks. Just surprised it didn't have a lock washer or loctite in place. Very disappointed in JD support, it was immediately assumed that it was abuse. The fact that the bolt was sheared and only 1/4" of the bolt was remaining proves it backed out prior to shearing.

Check out that forum, his 3032e most likely also had a bolt back out however, the shaft broke in lieu of shearing the bolt. This is of course an ASSUMPTION, but it is based on years of mechanical maintenance.

Here is what remained in the shaft, once a new bolt arrives you will see the full length

As I stated at the start, this is not my tractor but my friends. He insisted on getting and OEM bolt and washer, who am I to argue. I probably have them in my personal stock. As for the color, the black is merely the transmission and gearbox. If I showed the entire tractor you would see the JD Green.
