what would be the safe operating range for a satoh bull 2 cyl, diesil

since Diesel engines are built with a governor, its safe to say it probably wont overrev.

I usually run mine from between half and 3/4 speed, whatever it is rated at.

ie my D2000 will hit 2500 rpm, max engine speed but I usually kep it between 1500 and 2000 rpm.

If it working hard run it at near maximum RPM. Peak HP is near the top of the RPM range. You don't want to lug it at low RPM's. For easy work it doesn't matter so much.
