I still say it reminds of John Candy in " FAmily VAcation " - What a great movie...Whenever we go to the beach there is always a few guys with the tank tops and Budwieser beer can hats.......I love it ...Free entertainment. !

What a great comedic actor John Candy was...he's missed.

But I don't remember "Family Vacation"....there was National Lampoon's "Vacation" (but that was Chevy Chase)...I think you might mean either 'Summer Rental' or maybe 'The Great Outdoors'

The former was filmed right here in Pinellas County FL, along the intercoastal waterway and also starred Richard Crenna (yachtsman)...the latter co-starred Dan Aykroyd and some racoons...

both great movies... hard to beat 'Uncle Buck' though...!

Pine - You are exactly right - it was " Summer Rental " and you are also right I miss John Candy a lot...what a loss - and he was a great comedian and actor...I had no idea it was filmed in Pinellas county..

Maybe Roy can audition for a sequel...hey there is always hope...:laughing:
