Rox, an Olive oil question

I've been meaning to do something along those lines too. Thought olive trees would be neat but came to the same conclusion. I would like to plant some pears, apples and figs. Maybe even a grape arbor. But I keep putting it off.

We did plant a pomegranate tree last weekend. It voulnteered out of my M-I-L's compost pile! Figs and pears seem very easy to grow and I love both figs and pears. Its just one of those things you have to do while you're thinking about it.

Around here you also have to protect young trees from the deer.

No Kroger around here, but I will keep my eyes open for a Kroger as I run errands. I'm riding out to Bee Springs KY on my scoot at the end of this months, can't wait for that week-end.

Bee Springs! I bet that makes Union City look like a real metropolis. I don't even think you can find a loaf of white bread there.

Yeah, Union SC is definately a populated place compared to Bee SPrings KY. I spent a few months back in Bee Springs about 30 years ago. They had a pay phone, just one. But my friends last name was Decker. There were Deckers all over Bee Springs. And his mama and daddy were both Deckers when they got married so all the kin folk called them the double-deckers. They said they were not related before they got married but hey, we're all related back there some where
