I use glyfosphate around the nursery all the time and it has a surfacant that causes the chemical to adhere to the foliage and it is rendered inert in the ground. I don't have the booklet with me bit I think it states that it should not be sprayed during bee active hours.which I think is early.morning. it is best to spray on a sunny, dry day with no wind as drift is a real issue. Like I said I use it a lot ,yet I still see honey bees everywhere.

Good information and as another poster pointed out , it is important to control the rate of spray, volume and mist....I will continue to use it but I am careful with the application and if it is windy I do not spray....
