The above is great for feeding in a field, but for the barn yard I was trying to work out a turntable (bale ?vertical? i guess) and some fencing that would feed 3 differnt pens at once, 4th side for reloading. probably not worth it though. TBN put me on to bale processors, thats appealing.

Google "pallet turntable" looks like they start around $1000 new.

About 3 years ago a farmer came to me to make a bale turntablelike that to wrap a few bales of soybean hay for his few dairy cows. I made a fram to hold it on the ground and Welded on the end of of a large truck axle minus the live oaxle on the inside. I then took the dayton wheel and made my frame to hold the bale and weleded the wheel to it.. I thnk we ended up useing a hydraulic motor to turn it. He sets the bale on it and we had adispenser already there.

This may sound a little weird but has anyone ever seen something that you could put a round bale on ( standing up ) and you could turn the round bale as you took hay off of it?
