rotory harrow

does anyone out there ever use a rotory harrow, for leveling out ground ? if so do they do a good job ? I have seen them at some of the implemet dealers, just wondered if they are worth the $$$

Just my opinion, yes they are worth what they cost. They do work to even out ground better than a std fixed harrow. I have an 8' rotary harrow, it works pretty good, but I was disappointed that I needed to go over my ground 3-4 times, and I had hoped for 2-3 times.:( But I am sure that has to do with the ground and terrain that I use it on. They also work good to rip up weeds.:D
