Landpride states 20-40HP should be minimum used on their RTA12 58" and 66" models of tillers. I would imagine other brands have similar HP requirements. You could probably run a 60 fine, and it won't outweigh the tractor's capabilities. The key to doing it and making everything last, is to go slow.
Found something odd about that 2816, either that or tractordata's site has inaccurate info. Tractordata has the HST as having more PTO power (21.5HP HST) than the geared equivalent (20HP gear). Most units lose a bit of PTO power when using a hydro transmission versus gear.
