Rotary Mower for BX22

Looking to purchase a rotary mower for my BX22. Main use will be mowing a 1 acre "meadow" once or twice per year and to create/maintain some paths through the woods on our property (4 acres). Looking at the Rhino SE42, figure the smaller size is appropriate for the horsepower of the BX22 but would be interested if others have this combination and how happy they are. Would use a chainsaw to clear any of the larger trees when making the paths the first time so really looking at the longer term for the SE42?

When I had my BX2200 I used a 48" Bushhog. It worked most of the time. A few times in very thick grass I has to slow down. I also cut some pretty big sapplings. If you go slow it should do 1.5" with no problem.

I used (and still have) a 48" HOWSE bushhog. I had to reverse the lift pins but it worked fine. Be sure you remember you have low ground clearance. You don't want to tear up the bottom side of the BX /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
