Lay off the seller.

You are the one abusing a 1" rated cutter for cutting 2" - 3" material.

Take responsibility.

You can lay off me. You jump to unwarranted conclusions. I am talking about his representation of the tractor.

As for abusing the cutter, many on this very forum disagree with you.

Take a hike, Mr. Super Star Member, I can do just fine without your advice.

When I installed new blades last summer for the first time in 2-3 years, my 15’ batwing ran much smoother. When I removed the old blades and laid them atop the new blades, i was surprised how twisted & bent they were. Surprised they still gave a pretty clean cut, too.
I broke a blade once. The shaking was horrible.

The Woods HC 72 model is their lightest duty entry level model. It’s 11 gauge thin steel in the deck and dishpan, and the blades are only 3|8”. It’s great for cutting grass. Trying to use it to cut “any tree the tractor can push over” will quickly damage it, usually by damage to the blades, dish pan or gearbox shaft. Woods makes heavier duty models like the BB72.30 that is made to cut small trees. Or a Brown 416 would be a great choice.each will run over $4,000. Your tractor isn’t big enough for the heavy duty models like a Woods 72.50 or a Brown 672 that are probably 1,200 lbs or more

Finally changed my used and abused blades on my 60". Old blade on top of new. I think it works better now at recovering from the shakes cuz the wrap doesn't happen so often and I think the old blade holes were too sloppy on the bolts.
