ROPS no seatbelt

The Bolens tractor I have has ROPS, but no seatbelt. I'd like to add one, but what and where should it attach ?

I'd think it would need to be a point just behind where my hips are on the seat. Is there a guideline ?

When the seat itself has no attachment points, most have the seatbelt attached using the two rear bolts that hold the seat mount to the tractor.

For a single operator tractor I prefer a cut length belt. Retractable belts eventually accumulate dust and the mech becomes balky.

You might if you don’t want to spend much coin grab a set out of the back seat of an older model junk car.
Nothing fancy but definitely cheap and easy.
