Tractor
JD L110
I have done some reading on this site and see that others have had the same problem. I have a John Deere L110, I have replaced the drive belt and now wonder if there is an adjustment on the transmission or elsewhere for the belt tension? I bought the tractor in 2003 and after an hour of use it will no longer climb my hill. The only real noise is in the form of a whining or slipping sound. I am starting to think in terms of a new transmission. Can they be rebuilt? I saw one story. I replaced a transmission on my first tractor, a Sears Lawn tractor 16 hp.

Thanks,
