I have driven several different makes of tractors. And have owned three Fordson Majors and a Fordson super Major. I live in Ardkeen, Wairoa, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Australasia.

Each tractor has its own starting caricteristics. An international had to have the clutch in to start. The Fait had to have the diff ratio in neutral to start. The old ferggie had a starting gear. You placed the gearstick in that gear and the tractor started. The Fordsons came in many different models.
