Robot Vacuum

Just wanted to point out in this day and time, there is still excellent customer service out there.
I bought an EUFY Robot vacuum about a year ago. I believe it had a 6 mo warranty.

Last week one of the little brushes begin to stop spinning at times. I inspected it and determined that a gear ? inside the unit must have stripped ?

Anyway, I called customer service, to see if I might be able to obtain parts and make repairs.

After answering a few questions from the customer rep. He said. We are just going to send you a new unit, and to keep the old one for parts !

I really couldn't believe what I was hearing. He unit had been out of warranty at least 5 months,or longer.
Got the new unit shipped free within a week !

Anyway, like I said. In this day and time, I thought this company went above and beyond what they had to do to make me a happy customer !

On the other side:

I bought a Deebot a year and a half ago. My daughter saw it and also bought one and encouraged several others to buy them. Hers and one more we know of have died altogether. Mine can no longer find it's way to the dock and i have to manually pick it up and place it on the charger.

I contacted customer service in hopes they had a solution and went back and forth with them for a month. After they asked for a video of what it wouldn't do and I responded with that they replied and said they would dig into it and get back to me. Then they started sending me messages saying the case was still open and I needed to respond. I responded and pointed out I was waiting for their response and I got a short email explaining it had a one year warranty and that was as far as they went.

My daughter found the Shark on sale for $499. The one that dumps itself in the wall container and has a lifetime warranty. Warranty states they will pay shipping both ways if it fails. That will probably be our next one if we buy another.

I got my wife two shark uprights. One for each floor level. Showed her how to work them. Shes still doin fine.

We still have our 1980's vintage Kirby.

Not going to lie, that thing will still be running when humans go the way of the Do-Do Bird.

It is amazing how much this little robot vacuum picks up. I was really skeptical at first.
Guess that's why I waited so long to purchase one.

I'm really impressed how well this thing actually does !

Unlike a wife / G F, It won't talk back ! It just goes about it's business. When it gets tired, It puts it's self to bed
