Robalon skid shoes for 59" front mount blower

The recent storm we had here in the mid-west gave me an opportunity to try out the new Robalon skid shoes I bought for my 59" blower. These shoes bolt to the sides of the blower frame directly beneath the centerline of the auger. The two steel skids bolted to the back of the blower frame are retained. The Robalon shoes performed very well, but there is one little quirk. With the shoes mounted in there lowest position, they hold the scraper edge about 3/4" off the ground. While this works quite well for my my gravel area and on the grass, it leaves behind more snow than I care for on the pavement. I may have to slit a piece of pipe a slide that over the edge to extend scraper closer to the ground.

Which shoes did you order? I also have a 59" blower on my 855 and am looking into replacement shoe options. thanks.
