RM990 vs. used 9204RD

I have just upgraded my tractor from a 5030 HSTC to a 7040 Cab. I mow about 12 acres at my mountain property. My dealer has a used Woods 9204RD that was purchased in May 2004 and traded-in last summer. He is asking $6500. It is on consignment. I currently mow with a Woods RM990 and it works great.

Does anybody have experience with the 9204RD. If I can mow 10 more feet of grass every pass this is huge. I can mow the whole thing in about an hour...the only bad thing is less seat time and more expense. What would you do?

I've not seen that type mower refered to as batwing. That looks like 3 seperate towed units. I thought a center mower with hydraulically lowered outer sections left and right was a batwing.

I guess the proper term is "turf" batwing. Thanks for the info and the pic m7040!

This woods batwing 9204RD is still at the dealer. It is on consignment and have offered a little less than 5K now. Grass is growing really slow and business is also slow. It needs a bunch of rust removal and paint. I'm hoping the guy bites so I can mow more quicker! Any thoughts?
