RK37 Hydro: cutter size?

BRMyers: you make a great point. The spec sheet for the RK37 shows a total width of 55 inches. However, when I measure my tractor with the R4 tires, I get 66 inches on the total width. I wish RK was more specific about how and where they take their measurements/specs.

How tractor specs are measured by a manufacture is why it is challenging comparing different tractors just off the specs. They will give you the basic knowledge you need, but going and testing them and seeing them in person is what makes that final decision. A tractor may look really good by its specs, but when you actually sit on it, you may find out it just isn't right for you.

Anyway, the 5 or 6 ft mower will work for you and ultimately, it is which everyone will make you happy and fit your budget.

You may also want to check the size/grade of the shear pin for the mowers your looking at. Some of the smaller mowers have lighter grade shear bolts that tend to shear while mowing in heavy grass while many of the larger mowers don't shear even when cutting small brush and hitting debris.
