I've got an RK24H about 300 hours, did service a couple months ago. Was running just fine. Was moving pallets, ran over and picked up a stack, backed up, turned around set the stack down and hopped off to grab a couple pieces.
I get back on, raise the loader and push the throttle. Nothing happens. It revs normally, runs normally, no lights, no noises. Just won't move. trued 4wd, High, Low everything. I had it chained up in the truck in neutral slowly pulling it. my son was on it. I told him to just steer and don't touch anything. Literally inching along in case it caught gear and I hear a grinding like gears trying to catch (which I've heard if switching gears sometimes). I shut it off and left it.
Checked linkages, nothing unhooked. Took case cover off and drained 3/4 fluid, played with 4wd and high-low selector shafts and can see gears engaging.
The High low was always and little "tight" but it takes some efforts to throw all the way in either gear. 4wd seems fine. I felt down in the case for a pin or anything. Couldn't feel anything.
I'm stumped. None of the gears look stripped or chewed, no shavings, nothing bent or broken. It looks fine.
I noticed I did have to force it into low and high when I was looking with cover off but the gear seems to be slipping right in.
any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Here I am 3 weeks after getting my hydraulic issues fixed just to be down again. Might be time to switch to another manufacturer.
thanks
