I am looking for some information about RK24. Can a MMM be used on the RK24 without removing the full BH subframe? And if i have the MMM, can it be locked in the full up position so the 3pt hitch can be used without removing the mower deck? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

There used to be an RK rep here actively answering these kinds of questions openly for all to see. In recent weeks, they seem to have abandoned this site other than to direct people to their own site. I can only guess that they grew tired of being questioned here about their answers and opinions and chose to do something where they had better control over who could read what or reply.

Maybe one of the other owners will chime in for your question.

Thanks, yes i posted here hoping a current RK24 owner would help out. I really like what I've read about it. I would like to get one with all 3 big attachments. But i really dont like the thought of removing the BH subframe to use the mower or removing the mower to use a box blade to straighten up my driveway after a nasty summer storm.
I have tried the Ask RK tractor guy site though it appears to not be android friendly. I have to find and use a desktop to ask questions there.

I can't tell you anything about RK machines, but I can say for certain that my MT125 can have all three (FEL, MMM and BH) mounted and usable at the same time and that with the BH dismounted, I can use a 3PT tiller or landscape rake with the MMM mounted.

I have an RK24 with MMM and BH (among other attachments).

First of all, the RK24 does not have a separate subframe for the backhoe. It attaches directly to the rear of the main tractor frame.

Second, the MMM has its own subframe and linkage that attaches under the rear axles to the 3 point hitch. When the 3ph raises the lower lift arms, they pull on the linkage that lifts the MMM. Because of this, the MMM can be installed, but not lifted if the BH is installed, because the 3ph lift links must be removed to install the BH. Also, I am not aware of any way to lock the MMM in the up position. However, even in the up position, the MMM does not provide very much ground clearance. You will want to remove it for doing any 3ph related work. I install my MMM, mow my lawn, then remove it again. It's not that difficult.

Hope this helps.
