RK Customer Service help/suggestions.

Without going 'there', this could be another of many ominous signals to come out in recent weeks showing that the economy, retail in particular, is in very deep trouble. More significant is the manufacturing and major equipment sectors where the big guys that do the long range buying and planning and slowing down.

One guy leaving a company doesn't mean they're dropping a major product line, but some of the other red flags might.

I do agree that "one guy leaving a company doesn't mean they're dropping a major product line" ...however....
The "one guy" was the guy managing/directing the RK tractor line.

cmexrayu, there's no issue doing the maintenance yourself If it did then I can't imagine why they would give you all the information in the manual as to the type and quantities of supplies. They would just say schedule an appointment for service. Before I drove a 40 mile round trip to RK to pick up my supplies I called to make sure they had the filters before going there. The tractor rep called me back in a few minutes to let me know that he had them on hand. He also told me to take a picture of my hour meter so he could annotate the hours in my file. When I checked out he made a copy of my receipt and wrote the hours on it. I would just keep copies of the receipts myself. ........Don

Nothing to do with RK tractors, but I am not a fan of the Fort Wayne RK store in general, seems inept at best!

The Decatur store seems much better ran

I wonder what Mike Morgan, of "Outdoors With The Morgans" (RK sanctioned videos) knows about all this?

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if he's sorry that he sold his Kubota.

He got his RK tractors for free. Or at least they were loaned to him at no charge. He isn't out anything and has made a living off You Tube monetized ads.

I never looked into buying one of these so I don't know if they ever promised to pickup and deliver. Most any sales organization will deliver a new tractor but I suppose it's up to you to get it back to the dealer for service.

On the other hand if RK decides to stop selling these then the owners are most likely SOL. I don't think TYM will give any more support than they did when Cabellas pulled the plug.

If I were to consider a TYM built tractor I would buy it from a TYM dealer with the TYM name on it.

I realize every store has different managers but that's where corporate should step in and make sure there's some kind of standard..

I'm sorry to hear of the problems with RK.

I think I would be visiting a TYM dealership to discuss parts and possible needed service. I wouldn't wait until I needed those things. I'd secure a source now.
