Cancer is such a horrible thing, it seems like it only takes the best? I might be safe then, because I'm a cranky ornery old sumbeach.

Until you have experienced first hand, you'll never know what it's like. I have also walked the road and survived so far. I fully expect to succumb to it at some point as the cancer I had is recurring.
I thank the Lord for every day he's allowed me to survive. At 72, don't know how much time I have left but I enjoy every day anyway. Just keep in mind that no ne ever gets out alive. Not you, not me.
Enjoy the time you have because it's not infinite.
